Writer's Block.

Writer’s Block
By Simone Stokes

What kind of writer am I?

I’m a serious writer, but also I’m a lighthearted, action-packed, storytelling series

writer. I’m an argumentative debater, but I’m also a smooth talking persuader.
I’m a straightforward, no nonsense journalist, but my mangas are full of imagination and creativity. My raps and rhymes are like Jersey shore fist-pumping at their prime, but my songs and poems are full of pain and sorrow; they’ll bring you back down to earth from your pedestal, they’ll pull you from your timeline and toss you harshly into mine.

So, what kind of writer am I?

I’m a writer from all walks of life, from all times, from all worlds, from all galaxies,

from all universes, from all dimensions. I’m a writer who sees through all eyes, feels with all hands, hears through all ears, smells every scent, and thinks with everyone’s mind. I’m a writer that has lived a thousand lives, seen the creation and destruction of worlds time and time again, walked in every being’s shoes for thousands of miles, and heard every story there is to tell. I’m a writer whose stories take you to the farthest corners of the universe, discovered by me while taking a walk with my dragon (yes I said a dragon, yes they do exist, just not in the dimension which earth resides within). I’m a writer who has walked through Hell with a smile just to get the Devil’s point of view, and sat in Heaven weeping just so God would stop and ask

me, “What’s wrong?” I’m a writer whose characters may seem fictional and made up, but in truth, are really just the people I hang out with everyday.

But, what kind of writer am I?

I’m the writer whose name you know not, but whose works you’ve committed to
memory. I’m the writer who makes you feel what I feel when you read what I write. I’m a writer who will rip you from this reality and throw you into my own with a simple plain pencil and some lined paper. I’m the writer whose words bring you deep into the depths of my world, only to return to the world, which many refer to as “earth” (I do believe that is what it’s called, I don’t visit that world very often; I prefer to spend most of my days on Planet Millennium in the Generational Universe) when you close my book.

What kind of writer am I?

You decide. You’re the one reading.
